About 30 process-controlled injection moulding machines are available in different sizes, with mould-clamping pressures from 250 to 600 metric tons. The fabricating processes are automated in our own company. Series can thus be manufactured in large and small volumes economically. Processes can be optimized at short notice by means of our own tool manufacture; knowledge about the tool's rheologically optimum design and the cold-runner moulding technique is contributed. The moulded fabrication of articles comprises a broad spectrum of rubber qualities and parts. A wide range of expertise about the material's quality and its properties has been accumulated in this case, because the compound's development takes place within the Appel Group. The refinishing of rubber parts is done by utilizing modern spray-deburring machines and cleaning systems.
